PUBLIC INTEREST CONTRACT





This is an AGREEMENT by and between



who is a Candidate for the elective office of:



(hereinafter "Candidate") and the undersigned duly registered Voter(s) (hereinafter "Voter(s)"), entered into on the date(s) set forth below, in the public interest and subject to the following terms and condition:

I, the undersigned Candidate, if elected to the office I seek, will faithfully, and to the best of my ability and power, perform and carry out the following specific campaign promises or planks of my campaign platform, namely:











Failure to perform and carry out the above specific campaign promises or planks of my campaign platform, shall constitute a Breach of Contract.
Determination of Breach of Contract shall result in my immediate resignation from public office and forfeiture of all benefits attached thereto, including but not limited to retirement, pensions, and insurance.

This Contract shall be specifically enforceable in the Superior Court of the State of Alaska, by any Voter who is a party to this Agreement. If there is a bona fide dispute between the parties as to any relevant and material fact, such dispute shall be submitted, at the request of either party to such dispute, to a qualified, impartial Arbitrator, appointed by the Chief Justice of the Alaska Supreme Court or his designee. The decision of the Arbitrator shall be rendered within 30 days of the Arbitrator's appointment and shall be reviewable and enforceable in accordance with Alaska Laws governing arbitration. Any Voter who is a signatory to this Agreement shall have standing to enforce it by appropriate court action, shall be recognized in such action as a public interest party and upon prevailing shall be entitled to recover reasonable costs and attorneys' fees. If any provision of this Agreement is held invalid, the remaining provisions shall be deemed valid and enforceable.
